Who we are

Gianfranco SappaSappa Gianfranco is the architect and enthusiastic promoter. A High Mountain Alpine Guide since 1985 he has dedicated himself full time to his profession (climbing, high mountains, trekking, torrentism, off-piste skiing and ski touring). He has acquired a profound knowledge of the Aosta Valley and the Mont Blanc Massif, the Maritime Alps in Liguria and Sardegna. Following development in the mountain biking sector he qualified as an mtb instructor. This is a recognised qualification in the Aosta Valley. He is a member of both the Aosta Valley Association of Mountain Bike Instructors and the Courmayeur Society of Alpine Guides, founded in 1850, where he is responsible for the mtb sector. Mixing, where possible, mountain biking with other activities has created the opportunity to propose the activities illustrated in this site for anybody fired by the same enthusiasm for mtb, the natural environment and adventure.
Everybody who works with Bike&Mountain is expert in dealing with groups and has professional qualification for the activities they run.

Sappa Marco: born in Aosta March 6, 1988 he made his first steps on skis at age six and mountain biking just after. At age 18, after a good racing career became a ski instructor, an activity that still plays in both the Ski Club “Crammont” and the Mont Blanc in Courmayeur Ski School.   With the mountain bike he gets good results in the junior categories and obtain a patent of Master of Mountain Bike at the  Italian CyclingFederation in 2009.   Often accompanies the groups more aggressive and he is very good at handling children, thanks to his degree in Psychology.

 

Charruaz Fabrizio, born in Aosta 22 January 1975 and has always been a great lover of mountain biking. In 1997 he became master MTB 1st level of the Italian cycling federation. He is registered as regional  Masters of mountain bikes and in 2008 obtained the specialization in teaching the discipline of downhill and freeride.   He is one of the founders of the masters Valdostana MTB instructors. He has worked with various municipalities for the construction of mountain bike routes and organizes courses and MTB excursions  for children and adults. The passion for freeride and downhill led him to participate in numerous competitions especially in the French circuit of Maxi and Mega Avalanche.
