alpine educational and touring by mountain biking
For the 2012 season, Bike and Mountain is proud to offer educational tours by mountain bike in the upper Aosta Valley.
Years of experience in the world of mountain bikes - both teaching and touring - led to the idea of offering bikers a selection of this region's spectacular itineraries in the form of tours that include dedicated educational sessions that are designed to refine your uphill and downhill mountain bike techniques, teach basic concepts of alpine touring and even how to carry your bike on your shoulders, and to study different aspects of tour management and emergency procedures. A great way to enjoy yourself while discovering the many wonders of the paths that wind around the foot of Mont Blanc, immersing yourself in breathtaking panoramas and charming trails while refining your technical skills. The upper Aosta Valley presents a beautiful "natural concentration" of diverse technical challenges that, in combination with the teaching and advice of your expert guides, offers a great opportunity to learn about the latest riding concepts and maximize your mountain bike fun in greater safety! The activities are organized and led by Gianfranco Sappa, Mountain Bike Expert and Alpine Guide, who draws on a team of qualified Mountain Bike Expert assistants backed by the experience that is so essential to the highest degree of professionalism. A good level of fitness and conditioning is required. In addition to the offers listed below, customized educational tours may also be organized.
